Description
Cradle cap is a scaly patches on the skin of the baby’s head. Though cradle cap is not serious, these patches if left unchecked can cause hardening of the skin (such calluses).
Cradle Cap is usually healed by itself within a few months. Self-care measures, such as washing your baby’s scalp every day with a mild shampoo, can help loosen and remove the “dandruff” this baby.

Common signs include Cradle Cap:
* Appears like the crust thick in the head
* Oily skin is covered with pieces of white or yellow scales
* Dandruff
* Skin redness
Treatment
Cradle cap usually does not require medical treatment. Cradle Cap usually clean by itself within a few months. Treatment can be done with baby shampoo once a day with mild baby shampoo.
